Our relationship with the restaurants we cover

Some restaurants we write about are owned or operated by companies affiliated with our publisher. Every story about one of those restaurants says so at the top. We also cover restaurants we have no connection with. No restaurant pays to appear here; if that ever changes, the story will be labeled as sponsored.

How we report

Facts such as addresses, hours, menus, ratings and prices come from the restaurant's own pages or other public sources, which are linked at the end of each story. We do not invent visits, quotes, awards or reviews. When something changes, we update the story.
